Old Faithful Snowcoach Safaris
Experience one of Yellowstone’s most famous natural features, Old Faithful Geyser, in a landscape filled with snow and steam. Travel to the world’s largest concentration of geysers, hot springs, fumaroles and mud pots with one of our professional naturalist/biologist guides. Learn why this area was set aside as our nation’s and the world’s first national park. Departing from Mammoth Hot Springs, the quietest gateway to Yellowstone’s “Winter Wonderland”, we travel via our unique warm and comfortable snowcoaches to this magical region of the park. As we make our way to and from Old Faithful, you have the opportunity to view some of the park’s diverse and abundant wildlife; bison (buffalo), elk, coyotes, wolves and a variety of bird species, from trumpeter swans to bald eagles. Your safari includes experiencing the beautiful Gibbon and Firehole Falls, and the bubbling mud of the comical Fountain Paint Pots. Once arriving at the Upper Geyser Basin, home to Old Faithful and ½ of the park’s geysers, we will stop for lunch, enjoy an eruption of Old Faithful and possibly take a walk amongst the other spectacular thermals that makes this area of the park world renowned.

All snowcoach tours are provided by Yellowstone Year-Round Safaris, a Yellowstone National Park authorized concessionaire.
