Wildlife Safaris concentrate on the the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and its abundant and diverse wildlife during a half, single or multi-day safari full of adventure and hospitality that is second to none. Observe and learn about the wildlife species Lewis & Clark witnessed when the "Corp of Discovery" passed nearby almost 200 years ago; bison (buffalo), elk, deer, moose, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, and their predators, coyotes, grizzly and black bears and gray wolves. Over 200 bird species, including bald and golden eagles, ospreys, trumpeter swans and white pelicans make this region their home and a birdwatchers paradise.
Guests of all ages receive a "hands-on" experience from our professional naturalist/biologist guides, learning the habits of these wildlife species, how to spot them in their natural habitat and identifying them by their sign and tracks. Explore the region’s quieter side with a day hike to an unused wolf den or witness a marvel of nature; native trout spawning in an off the beaten path alpine lake. For the guests who wish to focus on the predators and hierarchies of the food chain, grizzly bears and gray wolves, Bear & Wolf Safaris are available.
Early morning or afternoon departures are available for our half and single day safaris to ensure best times for viewing wildlife. Multi-day safaris include both early morning and evening viewing opportunities.
